Daniele Gatti rehearsing le Sacre du printemps with ONF
I just watched the official season opening concert with ONF and their new
music director Daniele Gatti via internet directly from the Théâtre des
Champs-Élysées, Paris. The website is http://www.medici.tv and I think it is definitely
worth checking out in any case, and if you can make it tomorrow September
19th at 1600 GMT then you will see the same concert which took place
today. The concert will be available for watching for free still a couple
of weeks! The orchestra playing was superb, the direction was nice, and
especially I enjoyed Gatti's interpretation of le Sacre du printemps! Don't
miss it if you can!
